Company Girl Coffee 3.20.09

Better late than never....I suppose.
Today I was in Dallas still for the Christian Book Expo 09. It was again a day of the Lord loving on me in Downtown Dallas for church, then my brother and sister in law loving on me for lunch and at the Dallas Museum of Art. Later listening to Dr. Gary Chapman and talking with him 1:1 before his discussion on his newest book. ...God was so helping me again, providing a beautiful presentation and then time to speak to again, one of my mentor heroes in person and he signed my book, and asked for MY card. Can you believe it?
Lisa Whelchel was a joy to hear. Lori and I were in a small group with her today with her book Creative Discipline. She is so precious y'all...I could just hug her neck and squeal to be with her again. I truly loved her spirit and her transparency.
I have drank hotel coffee for days now, I wish I had you here with me in the beautiful Hotel Indigo in Downtown Dallas. The black polka dot couches were my fantasy bedroom decor, and I have lived this dream all week long. God has so refreshed me, given me new whisperings, and said "poof" as he sent help to realize the dreams he gave me....and His.work.is.good.
I know its wrong to brag, but I got to have dinner with Rachel Anne and Katherine not once but Rachel Anne came tonight too! God so knew who to send tonight, I so needed a hug after being gone all week from those who love on me, and Rachel hugged me goodbye and I felt like I was leaving a long lost friend I had never met before...what a blessing her heart is, and a joy to know her as a real life friend. Katherine, your heart is carried in mine as well....so I may just have to ask for adoption papers, so prepare your mother...a new girl is coming to the family! Lori is an amazing woman, her spirit is right and true, and I so love how she honors God and shares Him with me! I could not have asked for a kinder roommate for this week's activities!
Will you pray with us as we are overwhelmed with all that God has done! We fly out tomorrow and I am so glad to be seeing my loved ones at home, but my heart is here tonight, and my future is God's.
much love,
Sweetie
