Where IS that Fairy House Mother?

This week a lot of good things have happened in my world, however, once again I am relearning to place proper value and importance on doing the small things as my friend Rachel Anne so gently reminds me ! As a working from home professional, blessed wife, keeper of our home, homeschooler of the last child, taxi cab driver of the teenagers mom, the step mom of the bride to be, daughter and friend of others....well, choices have to be made continually to balance the otherwise overwhelming existence that we call our life. It takes continual choosing and focusing to make sure I spend my life doing the things that I desire to be as I live my life!

It is like a continual see saw...this balancing act. I liken it regularly to keeping five plates spinning all the time....things are sometimes going to crash. This week it was the laundry again....a freshly broken handle on the washer front loader door didn't help any!

In my life there IS no fairy house mother, so I am seeking out and ever so slowly learning the systems that work for our family. Many attempts at systems have come and gone. I know that truthfully, a comfortably clean home is one that affirms us and allows relax and live within it. Just as any other endeavor I work with....my homelife works best when I consider the needs first, work out a plan for success and keep revisiting those parts of the plan that aren't working until our desired results are achieved.....but I'd still really really like to have just a few moments with that fairy godmother and her wand in my laundry room!

hugs hugs hugs!

God is good! This is a day to rejoice in that fact!

Oh those spinning plates! I've got them, too. This morning was one of those mornings....I'm so behind and yet I'm stopping in for coffee :)

Priorities, right? :)

I have no housekeeping fairy either and I get so WEARY of cleaning the same things, week after week! Where does the clutter come from??? A busy family can create more STUFF! I'm sorry about your washing machine handle, argh. That complicates things, doesn't it?

Thanks for always bringing a smile to my face!
