If you don't know about what a Company Girl Coffee is...you're invited in! Its a group of women who read our friend Rachel Anne Ridge's Home Sanctuary website to learn how to make our homes a sanctuary for our family....to learn simple small things to make life happier at home and to share each Friday with each other over coffee what we've been up to each week! Join us...if you click on the Coffee Cup, you can be a Company Girl too!
I have simply been so blessed this whole week. Friendships, flowers, fantasticly pretty days....and great long distance phone friendships that thrill my soul when I get to hear via email or phone from y'all!..a lunch with my good friend Mrs. Goofy...an afternoon with Steph working with me at home...Ms Becky coming by with unexpected roses...my friend Bobbie calling to simply catch me up on her life....I cannot name all of you! Company Girls' you know you're on the daily list! but Jill, Angela, Bobbie, Lou Ann, Debbie...Katherine, Rachel Anne, Debbie, Lori, Donna Kay, Farrah, Sherry, Phyllis...you are so being prayed over, sought blessings for, and thanked for each day! wow!!..I am truly blessed! I cannot thank God enough for the grace and restoration in my life, I had prayed that God help me make friends in this new state, and has HE provided!
Yesterday was the best of days. First I got to meet Sissy's(Steph) husband Brandon (the one who was so kind to send me a rose this week for helping Sissy) That was so unexpected and terrific! Then two of the authors who are my Sweetwrites! clients were in Huntsville speaking at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Pamela Crawford, author and founder of Easy Garden Publishing of Atlanta, with co author Harvey Cotten Chief Operating Officer of the Huntsville Botanical Garden. I was so thrilled to meet Pamela in person, as we have been working a couple of months together and I am now her website creator and web content developer. She is as high energy and talks as fast as I do! What an enjoyable time for Madison and I as we got to hug their necks and share exciting news....the new book Easy Gardens for the South is ranked the #1 Garden book on Amazon!!! The website can be visited here and it was my very first large client website to build. God so blessed me with this client in the most unusual way of meeting her! Usually I am simply a web marketing writer, and web design strategist...God has so blessed me with Ms. Crawford and Mr. Cotten as clients, and now as friends and I am thrilled to say they are as lovely in person as on the phone. t.v. or newspapers!! Mr. Cotten, Madison. and I are new friends after several visits to the Garden and we simply think it's a wonderful place!
Our family and Grandma Charlotte with Chase making sure the groom didn't get away!
Last weekend we were in Oklahoma to see our oldest daughter Kimmy married. The wedding was in a tiny country church and it was sweet and full of happy sounds. There was absolutely no strife the whole weekend, and I was so blessed to be a part of our bride's day and her Mom was precious for including me in everything! The children in the wedding were absolutely hilarious and the wedding ceremony was full of hiccups and laughter, it was a happy day for all! Now I'm trying to get my mind around being called a step mother in law
This week I've been at home trying to catch up from the whirlwind trip and just working to clear the desk of all that was waiting on me. I've had exciting things happen since the Dallas trip. God ever amazes me with His mysterious ways! There is not one single thing to qualify me for all that God has blessed our family with except we love him, imperfect as we are....for we surely are very human and very undeserving of the grace He's giving us!
This weekend will be a quiet Saturday with Easter fun with Madison Saturday morning, while our boys go turkey hunting. Then Sunday we will be thrilled to see Brother Jackie's first sermon as our new minister. We have a very special thing happening this Sunday, we are joining the local church as our church home. This is a big change for us and we're excited! He and Sweet Libby are so welcome in our congregation and we just know God has blessed us! Home for ham loaf, cheesy potatoes, broccoli salad, strawberry pretzel salad, homemade rolls and coconut cake, and of course, more egg hunting!
After the exciting times at the garden, we were blessed to get to go to a big city mall with our Stephanie and her mom Lou Ann. We just adore these two and Madison and I have decided that Stephanie is ours...and we adopted her mom too. Lou Ann is in my Sunday school class, they are originally from Arkansas too so we are so blessed to know them. Stephanie "Sissy" is my personal assistant as the ministry grows to a progressively bigger adventure...she's the details girl for all of my work and is an artist to boot! She creates beautiful banners for the church plant she and her husband attend and have started and I haven't figured out a thing she cannot do! She is one of God's true blessings in my life, she is high creative like me, but also high analytical and organized!
Please sit and share with me! I am so excited to hear about your week! If anyone has a special family food for Easter please share! God is good! Happy Easter to you and yours! May God bless you and yours richly this day!

Good morning! Aren't girlfriends the best?! So glad to have coffee with you this morning. In fact, I am drinking out of my Starbucks mug as I read your blog. What a funfilled and BUSY week! Love it, though, because I know exactly how your type of personality works from personal experience. :)
Blessings to you this weekend~
It sounds like you have a lot going on!! I'm so glad God is blessing you with so many joyous happenings in your life. :)
Your website is neat, too. That's absolutely amazing about the book being #1 on Amazon!
Have a happy Easter!
What a sweet and wonderful week!
Hope your EAster is wonderful too!
We have a few childhood dishes that we like to make for Easter, but really I think the family is just glad to pass the cooking to our generation. LOL!
We do bring out my great grandmother's china on Easter, what a treat!
Isn't EAster amazing!
Happy Easter!
Coffee would be great! I am at Bible study most of the day on Friday. I should be free after about 4pm. Will you still be here? What part of town will you be in?
Oh, thank you so much for sharing! I was praying for your trip and the wedding! It was so nice to see the pictures. :)
Have a wonderful Easter! Please pray for my husband if you think of him. He's leading worship for three services and is still struggling with sinus infections.
Great big hugs back at you! :)
