April Flowers not Showers?

This week has been a special week. We drove home from the wedding and most of the trip home I looked like this ....attractive isn't it? Folks in 3 states drove past this face...meanwhile my husband was probably thinking this is the quiestest she's ever been!

then a funny thing happened on Monday, the doorbell rang and this is what I saw. Miss Becky of Boys Rule My Life had decided to bless me with beautiful flowers for playing with her boys last week, gee if I'd know you get to have fun AND get roses, I'd of volunteered alot more often! Last time I kept the boys we were showered with warm pretzels and other yummies she made...Shhh! Don't tell her, but my time with her boys is like Christmas morning to me! (she really ought to charge ME for the privilege)

and then on Wednesday after putting on my Educational Consultant hat and driving home after a lunch with one of my most loved friends, Mrs. Goofy between School visits. Lunch with Mrs. Goofy is like waking up Christmas morning and figuring out all the presents are for you! I met a florist van in MY drive....my only experience with florist in the driveway meant someone died....I wondered if that meant that Les had finally noticed the house hasn't been well done in a couple of weeks and was planning a funeral.....but to my surprise that van driver said "Does Sweetie Berry live here?" and I thought to myself ...."yes, she's still alive at this point" and she brought me this...

My friend and office administrator Steph's husband Brandon had sent us both roses. I think Brandon likes her a little more than me because she got a dozen beautiful spring green long stemmed roses...but then I realized he loves me better after all because my rose was raspberry with matching raspberry striped bow! Shhh! But don't tell Steph, she might get all jealous and forget how she filed all the important stuff ....or worse, she might forget how to make that yummy potato soup she brings sometimes! (I think Brandon actually makes it, so this man I've never met already ranks HIGH on our list of favorite friends!)

God is indeed good. He has sent such wonderful friends into my life. I simply do not deserve all that God is giving me! We figured out what was missing from our Barbie colored kitchen.....Brandon's striped ribbon showed the way....so Steph and I are on a mission to get it made and we'll show you soon!
